More Than A Number takes a humorous look at ageism in all its different guises. Written and produced by members of the Seniors’ Acting Lab, this production has recently completed a 6-stop citywide tour, sponsored by the City of Calgary and the Calgary Arts Development Authority, and hosted by various seniors’ community organizations throughout the city.

The last stop on our tour was to be a performance to celebrate Seniors Week. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the live performance was cancelled. Undaunted, SAL members have reinvented their delivery platform and on Wednesday, June 3 we are looking forward to our first livestream reading of More Than a Number. Funding for this live-streamed Performance is through a joint effort of the Rosza Foundation and Calgary Arts Development Authority.
